PLAY THEATER'S WINTER 2027 PRODUCTION:
FIREBRINGER
A STARKID stone age musical about the discovery of friendship, fire, and, ya know, human stuff.
Set in the prehistoric era, this irreverent musical follows a duck-worshipping tribe led by two feisty cave girls discovering everything they need to be human. Will the diplomatic Jemilla retain her steady hand over the group, or will the lazy Zazzalil change things when she accidentally discovers fire? And does that mean she'll actually have to do some work today?

Play Theater's Winter Musical accommodates up to 50 kids, 2nd grade and older. Enrollment is first-come, first-served. Roles are cast from that pool of 50, but everyone registered performs in the show. The cost is $410 per participant.
Auditions for specific roles will take place on Saturday, November 14th. The full schedule is available here.
Rehearsals and performances take place at duCret School of Art, a beautiful mansion and NJ's oldest art school, located at 1030 Central Avenue in the historic, residential Van Wyck section of Plainfield.
Between now and the audition, we recommend taking the time to get to know the soundtrack very well.
